Ms. Ngan is a pioneer who brought the bellydance craze to Ho Chi Minh City. After many years of teaching experience, Ms. Ngan has left a profound mark on the Vietnamese bellydance scene, especially in Ho Chi Minh City. Her reputation is known through cultural exchanges and performances in Thailand, Singapore, China, Malaysia, and more. Under her guidance, many bellydancers have grown and gained reputable positions in the Vietnamese bellydance community, with many achieving success abroad.
Professional and systematic, she received an International Trainer Certificate from the Winter Intensive Course in Cairo, Egypt in 2010. Kim Ngan has had the opportunity to learn from and interact with over 20 world-renowned trainers such as Dina, Raqia Hassan, Ragaey, Hooda Ibrahim, Doaa Sallam, Atef ad Magda, Inessa Parker, Sabrina, Sandrine, Momo Kadous, Angella Kim, Alex DeLora, Daila Jansikova, Julia Torgonska, Shereen (Czech Republic), and more. At SaigonBellydance, which she founded, she has developed a systematic and highly scientific training curriculum. Her courses for training performers and instructors are always trusted and chosen by many students.
Kim Ngan has developed her own unique bellydance style. She chose the Egyptian Bellydance style instead of Western or Asian Bellydance. This style is not common in Vietnam and Egypt, but those who have seen her perform can feel the power and sensitive soul behind every dance move or strand of hair.
Currently, she is the leading bellydance event organizer in Vietnam: Vietnam Bellydance Festival, attracting most bellydancers in Vietnam with the participation of world-leading names such as Alex DeLora, Brancy Malaysia, Daila Jansikova, Angella Kim, Julia Torgonska, Jinhee Kim, Abir Poland, Yana Tsehotskaya, Maya Sarsa France, Mercedes Nieto Hungary. About 70-80% of professional bellydancers and instructors in Ho Chi Minh City have experienced her detailed and strict guidance or have been inspired by her.
