K-pop aka Korean pop music (also called Kayo or Gayo music) is a type of dance from Korea. Many artists and groups from Korea have become popular in many countries around the world. The popularity of K-pop is often seen as part of the emergence of Korean Wave, the rise of the popularity of contemporary Korean culture in Asia.
